In 2015, the orchestra represented by Ukraine is the largest in Europe and one of the world’s largest marching brass band BERLIN TATOO in Berlin (Germany). And the place in the show-show category and 1st place – the Orchestra Competition at the International Brass Orchestra and Majorets Competition in Baranavichy (Belarus)

Brass Orchestra "Funny Musicians", a group of major bands The Best (village Zvenigorod, Lviv region)

The orchestra was formed from pupils of junior and senior grades of Pikulovitsky NEC. The orchestra is performed by the choreographic circle of “The Best” majeure. The teacher of the brass and percussion instruments, as well as the head of the orchestra and the choreographer of the majeure is the teacher of the highest category Bogdan Matsevko. The Children’s Orchestra has repeatedly participated in various events organized at the level of the village, district, region and performed at competitions in various cities of Ukraine, in particular, in Kiev, Ternopil and Lviv. In 2016 the orchestra won the third place at the festival of brass bands in Tarnowskie Góra (Poland). Was celebrated as a team of youngest participants in the city of Vzheshnia (Poland), performed a program of carols in the city of Domenicoitsa (Poland). The orchestra was awarded with certificates of regional and district departments of culture for the significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian folk amateur art and active concert activity.

Youth Wind Orchestra in Llobze (Poland)

The brass band in Lobes town was founded by Vladislav Radlinsky in 1945 and exists until now. In 1996, the name was changed to the youth band. During 50 years the orchestra was directed by: Vladislav Redlinsky (1952-1953), Leon Klimek (1953-1955), Joseph Herford (1955-1957), Mykola Sutkovsky (1957-1964), Leslav Buzek (1964-1993), Bohumil Viniarsky 1994 2008), Dariusz Lejón from 2008 to present (2018). The orchestra collaborates with a group of majeurets, choreographer and head of the senior group (from 2008 to 2016) – Theresa Zinkevich. In 2010, an average group of majorchairs was created, instructor-Teresa Zienkiewicz. Since 1993 by 2017 The orchestra had 791 performances (including 170 outside the country, Germany, Sweden, France, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Hungary, Serbia, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Vatican, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria). Since 1995 he has been co-organizer of the International Festival of Brass Band Orchestras in Lobesa.

Ensemble "Dream Drum" (Lviv, BSM No. 8)

The Dream & Drum ensemble was created in 2017. Dream & Drum was formed as a result of the collaboration of two groups: the Percussion Instrument Complex of the Lviv State Musical School №8 “Accent” (headed by Sergey Denisyuk) and the participants of the Dream Dance School (the head of the “Snigan” Ogorodnik). The first performance of the “Dream Drama” ensemble took place at the II Open Festival of Brass Band Orchestras and Majorets “The Queen Lion” in 2017, where the ensemble won the “Audience Award”. The initiator of the project and its sponsor – Karamaliev Sergey Artemovich (director of “Menestrel” Ltd.).

     The purpose of the ensemble and its organizers is to popularize the drum art and sports dance among children and young people.

Dolin Municipal Wind Orchestra (Dolina)

Dolin Municipal Wind Orchestra – created on October 1, 2009. The “Municipal” status was approved on December 7, 2009 by deputies of the city council of the city of Dolyna. The orchestra has 30 musicians from the city of Dolina and Ivano-Frankivsk region. The first director and conductor of the orchestra – Yaroslav Skabyak is a native of the city of Dolina, a teacher of the Kalush College of Culture and Arts, a branch of the Kiev National University of Culture and Arts, the leader of the pop and brass band with the title “folk”. The repertoire of the municipal orchestra includes works of different eras, forms and genres. In particular – traditional music for the brass band, and fragments of world classics, works of Ukrainian composers and samples of classical jazz.

Children's Orchestra Souvenir (Kyiv)

The orchestra was created in 1974, it was transformed into a pop and wind studio with a multi-layered structure, in 2001. Assigned the title “Folk Art Group”, is a multiple winner of regional and international competitions and festivals. The leader and conductor of the orchestra is Biloshapka Alexander Vitaliyovych. Students of the studio are students of higher educational institutions of music, graduates work in professional orchestras of Ukraine.

Ensemble of drummers "Accent" (Uzhgorod)

The group of drummers “Accent” was created in 2014 on the basis of the contemporary dance ensemble of the Uzhhorod College of Culture and Arts, and collaborates with the pop and symphony orchestra of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic. Choreographer and head of the majeure group is Shevtsova Irina Nikolaevna. The ensemble takes part in the concert activity of the Budapest College of Music. The team of drummers has a joint program with the Hungarian National Wind Orchestra in Budapest.

Brass Orchestra Novoiavorovskaya MSM, a group Voloshka Magorets (Yavoriv city, Lviv region)

The orchestra is composed of young and upper secondary school pupils of Novoyavorivska State Musical College. The choreographic group Voloshka Ice Cream performs with the orchestra. Children participating in the orchestra live in several villages of Yavoriv district. In the repertoire of the collective works for the brass band, folk, pop music. The orchestra is a participant in many events, takes part in festivals and contests. He is the laureate of the II degree of the Regional Festival-Competition of the Brass Band Or. Bohdan Sapelyuk, Lviv (2017), also participant of the I-International Festival of Brass Orchestras “Copper Okshina” (2016), guest of district-level festivals: “Yavoriv Bavnitsa” and “Babi Summer”, Vereschytsya village. The collective was awarded with certificates of regional and district cultures for significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian folk amateur art and active concert activity. The organizer and leader of the orchestra is Roman Solsky.

Orchestra of the Lviv College of Culture and Arts (Lviv city)

The brass band of the Lviv College of Culture and Arts was founded in 1962 on the basis of the instrumental department. The orchestra was created with the aim of acquiring students practical skills in the ensemble game in the orchestra and managing the brass band during the performance of musical works of the concert repertoire. The head and conductor of the orchestra is Khovanets Mikhail Ivanovich. In the repertoire of the brass band, as the original works for the brass band, the processing of Ukrainian folk songs, carols, the best samples of world, jazz and popular music, translated into the brass band.

Model Wind Orchestra Golden Surm, Ensemble of Majorets "Suzirya" (Kalush city)

The brass band “Golden Surmium” was created in 1983. In 1989 he received the title “Model”. The leader of the orchestra is Ivan Shalat. – 1987-1988 – winner of the International Competition (Rivne, Ukraine); – 1991 – winner of the All-Ukrainian Festival of Brass Band Orchestras (Lviv, Ukraine); – 2002 – laureate of the International Festival – Gorlice, Poland) – 2014 – winner of the International Festival of Brass Band Orchestras (Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland) – 2015-2016 – winner of the International Festival of Brass Bandits (Dabrowa Gornic, Poland) – 2016-2017 – Member International Festival of Brass Orchestras “Golden Lion” (Lviv, Ukraine) – 2017 – Winners of the 14 M International Festival of Brass Band Orchestras, II place (Tsvikau, Germany); Together with the brass band, the ensemble of the Majorets “Suzirya”, which is an ornament of the orchestra, complements it with its elegance and grace. The head of ensemble of maisonettes is Olga Kvetsko.

Brass Orchestra "Polytechnic" of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic"  

The folk brass band Polytechnic of the National University “Lviv Polytechnic” was founded in 1948. The orchestra is a laureate of All-Union and All-Ukrainian folk festivals. During various years, R. Mukhamedzhanov, D. Bakhshityan, V. was led by the orchestra. Nosov, M. Katsura, Y. Horbal. Today the head of the orchestra is Honored Artist of Ukraine – Nikolai Orach. The orchestra is known for its performances not only in Lviv and the Lviv region, but also in many other cities, such as Warsaw, Vilnius, Dnipro, Yerevan, Rzeszow, Kiev, Krakow, Minsk, Moscow, Riga and Tbilisi. In the repertoire of the orchestra there are more than 45 works of Ukrainian and foreign music. In recent years, the orchestra has participated in events held at the university, in particular: in the solemn ceremonies “Dedication to students”, the awarding of diplomas to masters and specialists, the opening of the festival “Spring of Polytechnics”, in the solemn academies on the occasion of the awarding of honorary titles “Doctor Honoris Causa ” etc.

Spiritual Orchestra of Lviv Spiritual The Seminary of the Holy Spirit (Lviv city)

The Orchestra of the Lviv Theological Spiritual Seminary of the Holy Spirit is one of the oldest organizations of the seminary, the year of its foundation – 1880. Before the Second World War the collective was symphonic and took an active part in the public life of Lviv and Galicia. In the forties of the 20th century, the Soviet authorities closed the seminary and the orchestra ceased to exist for a long time. Restored in the spring of 2001. The head and conductor of the orchestra is Andriyan Leshkov. The main function of the orchestra is to solemnly meet in the seminary of highly esteemed guests, organize concert performances for brothers-seminarians, which are confined to outstanding events in the history of the UGCC and the Ukrainian state. The orchestra participated in the celebration of the 220th anniversary of the Lviv Theological Seminary, the Surmi Zvytyag contest, the Khutorivka talent contest, the II International Festival of Brass Orchestras and Majorets “The Royal Lion.” At present, the repertoire of the brass band comprises more than twenty works of different genres, among them: religious works, carols, marches, poppuri, contemporary and classical pieces in the arrangement of the leader of the collective – Andriyana Leiskivaya.

According to the results of the voting of the audience, the prize of spectator sympathies was received by the Orchestra of the Lviv Theological Seminary of the Holy Spirit.
